On May 15, 2026, dozens of teachers and students from the JSWAY CNC Training College visited the JSWAY CNC Zhongshan Headquarters for an exchange and learning tour. The route covered core manufacturing units including the machining workshop, quality inspection room, and final assembly workshop, with each stop explained on-site by experienced technical experts.
The machining workshop is JSWAY CNC’s base for independent production of core components, undertaking the precision machining of key structural parts such as machine beds, spindle housings, and tool turret bases. The workshop is equipped with multiple high-precision gantry machining centers and vertical machining centers. JSWAY CNC adopts a “roughing – semi-finishing – finishing” staged process, and during the finishing stage uses high-precision boring tools combined with measurement systems to ensure that bore tolerances are strictly controlled within the design requirements.
The students expressed that they had learned related theories in their courses at the training college, but this on‑site observation gave them an intuitive and deep understanding of “how precision is guaranteed.” What impressed them even more was that JSWAY is able to machine core components to such a high level of precision – a result of more than a decade of continuous technical accumulation and hard work.
Next, the group moved to the quality inspection room. This room is the heart of JSWAY’s quality management system, responsible for inspection from raw material incoming to finished product outgoing. The inspection room is equipped with high‑precision devices such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and laser interferometers, capable of scanning and measuring the spatial dimensions and geometric tolerances of complex components with accuracy reaching the sub‑micron level. The students marveled at the rigorous quality management system and advanced inspection methods of JSWAY CNC, which fully reflect the company’s high sense of responsibility to the industry.
The last stop of the tour was the final assembly workshop. This workshop is the final assembly and testing site for complete machines such as Swiss‑type lathes, mill‑turn CNC machines, and CNC lathes. The workshop is climate‑controlled to ensure assembly precision. From machining to quality inspection to final assembly, JSWAY CNC has built a complete precision manufacturing chain – a vivid example of its comprehensive development from simple machining to R&D, manufacturing, assembly, and service.
Manager Xiang led the teachers and students along the assembly line one by one. Before assembly, all mating surfaces are finely scraped to ensure contact stiffness and geometric accuracy. Assembly is carried out in a clean, temperature‑controlled environment. After assembly, each spindle must undergo a run‑in test of no less than eight hours before moving to the next stage.
The afternoon session began with a corporate presentation given by Deputy General Manager Zhang from the General Manager’s Office. From multiple perspectives – JSWAY CNC’s development history, core technology system, product portfolio, and market strategy – he elaborated on the company’s journey from a small machine shop to a national‑level “Specialized and Sophisticated Little Giant” enterprise.
JSWAY started in 2004 as a machine shop. From its very beginning, it faced fierce market competition. At that time, foreign brands almost monopolized the high‑end Swiss‑type lathe market, and domestic users often insisted on “no import, no purchase.” JSWAY CNC did not retreat; instead, it chose the path of independent R&D, winning customer trust with product quality and service.
Mr. Zhang emphasized that the high‑quality development of the CNC machine tool industry cannot be achieved without high‑quality skilled talent. JSWAY CNC founded its training college precisely out of a conscious sense of industry responsibility, hoping to elevate the talent level of the entire industry.
The principal and teachers of the training college also delivered speeches, encouraging the students to be proactive and diligent in their studies. CNC technology is a continuously evolving field. With the deepening advancement of industrial smart manufacturing, the demand for versatile CNC talents will only grow larger.
Since its establishment, the JSWAY CNC Training College has always adhered to the educational philosophy of “learning for practice, integrating knowledge and action,” and is committed to cultivating high‑quality CNC technical talents who possess both solid theoretical knowledge and strong practical ability. This is not only a need for the company’s own development, but also a reflection of JSWAY CNC’s active assumption of talent supply responsibility as a machine tool builder.
